Our offices will be open on October 10th, 2016.
Employee direct deposits:
No direct deposits can take place on Monday, October 10th. Also, Monday, October 10th can not count as one of the bank days between when a payroll is ran and when it is direct deposited.
If your payroll is normally deposited on Mondays, then you should run your payroll by Wednesday, October 5th at 4PM EST and schedule direct deposit for Friday, October 7th to make sure employees get paid before the weekend.
If your company policy it to run payroll for Monday, but you do not want to run it early or deposit early, then run it like normal and simply let it deposit on the Tuesday the 11th.
If your payroll normally happens on Tuesday and you are use to running it on Friday, or your payroll normally happens on Wednesday, and you are use to running it on Monday, then you will need to run it a day earlier in each of those circumstances. Running it on Thursday for a Tuesday payroll, and running it on Friday for a Wednesday payroll.
