Thanksgiving Day - November 24th
OnPay Office Hours:
Our offices will be closed from 3PM EST on Wednesday, November 23th, 2016 until 9AM EST on Friday, November 25th.
Employee direct deposits:
No direct deposits can take place on Thursday, November 24th. Also, Thursday, November 24th can not count as one of the bank days between when a payroll is ran and when it is direct deposited.
If your payroll is normally deposited on Thursday, then you should run your payroll by Monday, November 21st at 4PM EST and schedule direct deposit for Wednesday, November 23rd to make sure employees get paid before the holiday.
If your company policy is to run payroll for Thursday, but you do not want to run it early or deposit it early, then run it like normal and simply let it deposit on Friday the 25th.
If your payroll normally happens on Friday and you are use to running it on Wednesday, or your payroll normally happens on Monday, and you are use to running it on Thursday, then you will need to run it a day earlier in each of those circumstances. Running it on Tuesday for a Friday payroll, and running it on Wednesday for a Monday payroll.
